Journal of Machine Construction and Maintenance (ISSN 1232-9312) is a quarterly published by the Institute for Sustainable Technologies – National Research Institute (ITeE-PIB) in Radom, Poland and has been continuously published since 1991, with required regularity. Since 2017, the Journal has been published under the auspices of the Committee on Machine Building of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Journal of Machine Construction and Maintenance is a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research articles in selected areas in the following thematic issues:
- machine construction and maintenance,
- surface engineering in machine building,
- test and research apparatus construction,
- technical and environmental safety systems,
- advanced mechatronic and optomechatronic technologies,
- technology transfer and methods of informational support for technical systems.
The Quarterly is addressed mainly to scientists, students and engineers specialising in the area of the maintenance of technical objects. Only those article that are at a high substantial level are published. The editing is at the highest possible level as well (ISO 9001). The substantial level of the journal has been confirmed and the total of 12 points is granted to the publications printed in it. The articles accepted for publication must be written in English.
The Journal of Machine Construction and Maintenance is indexed in the following databases: BazTech, Index Copernicus, EBSCO, TEMA.
The Journal of Machine Construction and Maintenance is published based on the open access model (OA). The use of the articles is possible under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits redistribution, commercial and non-commercial, provided that the content is properly cited.
